AI for construction › Handover & Facilities

The problem

Owners get a box of manuals at handover, so nothing gets serviced until it breaks.

A missed filter or a skipped fire test turns into a fight over the warranty. Or a visit from the fire inspector. And the owner blames you.

The fix ↓

01 Free tool. Build the calendar here.

A 12-month maintenance calendar for your owner.

For construction companies with 3 to 50 staff. Pick the equipment and how many. Get a 12-month calendar that says who does each task. Save it as Excel, or add it to your own calendar.

What your maintenance calendar looks like

April
  • Fire gear check
  • Exit lights check
  • Rooftop unit start-up (2)
  • Roof walk, clear drains
May
  • Fire gear check
  • Exit lights check
  • Backflow test (1)
  • Irrigation start-up

Blue = a contractor does it. Black = the owner's own staff.

Example building. Yours uses your own equipment.

Get a free 12-month upkeep calendar. Each task gets a month and who does it.

Great company to work with, incredibly detail oriented and easy to work with. We really appreciated how they focused on solving the problem, not just appeasing customer desires. The work was returned ahead of schedule with capabilities on par and beyond what we were expecting. …

04 Questions

Short answers.

What should be on a building maintenance schedule?

List each piece of gear in the building. Add each task it needs. Note how often it is done and who does it. Start from the maker's manual for each item. It always wins.

How often should HVAC be serviced?

Most commercial systems get a service at least twice a year. Do it once before the hot months. Do it again before the cold months. Filters are often changed more often. The maker's manual sets the real time between visits.

What fire inspections does a building need?

Fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers and emergency lights. The law says you must test each one. This calendar follows the Ontario Fire Code. Other places have their own code. Check yours.

Who is responsible for maintenance after handover?

The owner. The builder still fixes warranty defects. Skip the upkeep and some maker warranties can be void. A clear plan helps the building last. It also shows the owner you still care.

Can I add a maintenance schedule to Google Calendar?

Yes. Download the file and open it. Each task goes into Outlook, Google or Apple. It comes back each time it is due.

Can AI build a preventive maintenance schedule?

Yes. Our AI Employee reads the manuals and builds the plan. It sends the reminders too. Your team checks it before the owner gets it.
