What should be on a construction purchase order?

Why use purchase orders in construction?

What is three-way matching?
Checking the PO, the delivery slip and the supplier's invoice against each other before you pay. If the count or the price does not match, hold the bill and ask.
What is the difference between a purchase order and a subcontract?
A PO buys material or rentals at a set price. A subcontract hires a company to do work on your site, with scope, insurance and holdback or retainage terms.
Does the free template add sales tax?
It adds Ontario HST at 13%. You can turn it off if the supplier's quote already has tax, or if your province or state uses a different rate.
